In 2017, I participated to the project "my lovely postcards": I donate an illustration (postcard format) to Sobell House Hospice for an online auction to raise funds. All the postcards were exhibited at the The Jam Factory in Oxford.
Through My Lovely Postcards, we have raised in the region of £3,600 for Beth’s Bursary Fund, which will go directly towards the professional development for some of the healthcare professionals working for Sobell House and directly caring for people at the end of their lives.
My best friend which whom I did my undergraduate (BA Illustration & Comics) passed away in 2015 from a brain tumour. Hardly one day passes where I do not have a thought for him when I pick up a pen.
